Sales by Auction

Our experience in preparing and handling sales of property by Auction is deep rooted and goes back to the origins of the firm.

We continue to hold regular sales of property by auction, our two principle Venues being the Manor Hotel in Yeovil and the George Hotel in Crewkerne although from time to time we do venture elsewhere.

With many types of property a Sale by Auction can produce not only a very satisfactory price but also means that a binding sale is quickly achieved as the fall of the hammer constitutes the contract. With the majority of Auctions completion of the sale takes place only 28 days later.

Valuation

As chartered surveyors we are able to offer professional valuation services for many purposes;

Mortgage and Lending services

These instructions generally come direct from the Banks and Building Societies themselves

Probate

We are able to provide probate valuations on a wide range of properties and can subsequently if required help with the necessary sale arrangements either Private Treaty or by Auction. We can provide help and advice with contacts in respect of the contents and house clearance

Matrimonial

Again we can provide valuation advice on the wide range of residential properties as and when these are required.

Homebuyers

As Chartered Surveyors we carry out the RICS Homebuyers Report and Valuation and are always happy to provide a quotation for this service.
